Safety & Child Safety Standards
Child Safety Standards
Kutana Up is for adults aged 18 and over. EJLI Innovations LLC has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, and any sexualised content or contact involving minors.
- Age gate: every member must give a date of birth showing they are 18 or older; under-18 sign-ups are blocked and recorded so they cannot simply retry.
- Detection: profile and chat photos are checked automatically for nudity and sexual content; suspected minors and abuse can be reported from any profile or chat.
- Action: accounts involved in CSAE are removed immediately and permanently banned. Evidence is preserved securely, and CSAM is reported to the U.S. National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to the relevant authorities in Tanzania and other affected countries, as required by law.
- Reporting: in the app, open the profile or chat and tap Report → Underage. Or email safety@kutanaup.com. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours.
- Contact for child safety: EJLI Innovations LLC, safety@kutanaup.com.
