Kutana UpTerms of Service
Draft for legal review. This policy is published for app-store and sign-in setup during private testing. It will be reviewed by Tanzanian counsel before public launch.
These terms are an agreement between you and EJLI Innovations LLC for your use of the Kutana Up app and kutanaup.com. By creating an account you accept them and our Privacy Policy.
1. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must not have been banned from Kutana Up before.
- You may have only one account, and it must be about you.
2. Your account
Keep your sign-in details safe; you are responsible for activity on your account. Give accurate information, including your real age and your own recent photos.
3. Community rules
You must not:
- Ask other members for money, mobile money, gifts, investments or cryptocurrency, or promote any business or scheme.
- Impersonate anyone, use someone else's photos, or create fake accounts.
- Harass, threaten, insult or discriminate against anyone.
- Post nudity, sexual content, violence, or any content involving minors.
- Share other people's private information without permission.
- Post content that is illegal in Tanzania or in the country where you use the app.
- Scrape, copy or misuse the app or other members' data, or interfere with its security.
We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or ban accounts that break these rules, and report illegal activity to the authorities.
4. Your content
You own the photos and text you post. You give EJLI Innovations LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, resize and display them in order to operate Kutana Up. The licence ends when the content is deleted, apart from copies kept for legal or safety reasons as described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Safety
We check photos and some messages automatically and review reports, but we do not run criminal background checks and cannot guarantee anyone's identity or behaviour. The Selfie Verified badge means a face check matched the profile photos at the time of verification; it is not proof of identity. Take care when meeting people; see our safety tips. Never send money to someone you met on Kutana Up.
6. Paid features
Kutana Up is currently free. If we introduce paid features, their price and terms will be shown before you buy.
7. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Settings → Delete account) or as described on this page.
8. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, EJLI Innovations LLC is not liable for the conduct of members on or off the app, or for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. We will notify you in the app before material changes take effect; continuing to use Kutana Up means you accept them.
